Highlights

Kay Johannsen's varied musical activities are centered at the Collegiate Church Stuttgart, the main church of Stuttgart and the region. Being the artistic director of the Collegiate Music Association Stuttgart, he is responsible for the weekly concert series An hour of church music that attracts over 20.000 concertgoers a year. The organ of the church, built in 2004 by the Mühleisen Company, which has 81 registers and four manuals, is a continuing source of inspiration for him.

Didier Laloy was 13 when he first touched a diatonic accordion, since that time he has grown into a master of the instrument and composer and is considered as one of the most active representatives of the diatonic accordion revival in Belgium and Europe. His easy and humorous onstage manner, his ability to tackle almost any musical genre, the subtlety of his playing and his never ending energy and enthusiasm have made him a highly sought after and appreciated musician.

Founded in 1982, the Munich Piano Trio is one of the most active and sought-after German chamber music ensembles. The musicians have undertaken lengthy concert tours throughout Europe, North America, Russia, Japan, China and a few African countries. The Trio has given concerts in the world’s most famous venues, including Berlin’s Philharmonic Chamber Music Hall, New York’s Carnegie Recital Hall, Munich’s Cuvilliés Theater, Hercules Hall and Prince Regent’s Theater, Tokyo's Suntory and Casals Hall and London’s Wigmore Hall. Festival engagements have included the Munich Opera Festival, the Orlando Festival and the European Chamber Music Festival in Strasbourg.
