Bob & Bill - China EXPO Tour 2010
Bob & Bill has extensive experience in the realm
of show business and media arts as composers, arrangers, recording
procuders and of course performing musicians.
In 2003, Bob & Bill composed the music for the Ubisoft video game Splinter Cell (Pandora Tomorrow), one of today’s best selling games in the world. In 2004, they took part in the creation of Soleil de Minuit, a show produced by the Cirque du Soleil and the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, in which they were responsible for the musical direction and arrangements.
Bob & Bill also had the opportunity to produce many albums, including those of Monica Freire, Pink Floyd Redux (a twelve-song remix album by the British cult band) and the Cirque du Soleil’s Kooza show. They also created music for film as well as television series. The year 2008 was marked by the launch of Bob & Bill’s very first album, Crime Report, which combines electronic and organic sonorities.
Since 2007, Bob & Bill have renewed their collaboration with the Cirque du Soleil by creating music for several special events, such as the launch of McLaren’s new F1 in Valencia (Spain), Quebec City’s 400th anniversary celebrations, the show Il sogno di Volare in Lecce (Italy) and a benefit show for ONE DROP Foundation in Washington, D.C. (US). In 2009, they composed the soundtrack to Pageant de Canotgraphie, a production staged by Robert Lepage, with whom they are currently working as musical directors for Cirque 2010.
