OUR TANGO Orchestra

OUR TANGO runs their own style which Inherited from the Argentine tango to the new tango(Tango Nuevo) in the late 20th century, based on which they have explored in multiple levels with their individuation and expandation, while adhering to the interpretation of the orthodox tango style, and attempting to interpret tango with the well-designed fake breitling galactic watches Oriental flavor elements.

Since 2011, the orchestra's interpretation has evolved from the original pure instrumental music to collaboration with various art forms such as vocal art, dance and drama, and has continuously sought to construct new interpretations with artists from different fields.

Over the past eight years, OUR TANGO has been growing into a mature tango orchestra. Their single, Invierno Porteño ("Winter in Buenos Aires"), which was recorded in 2014, was circulated in the Argentine authoritative radio "2x4" and was awarded by tango master Walter Rios.

In 2017, the orchestra was invited as a special guest to perform a live show at the summit of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Argentina. Our tango witnessed the profound friendship between the two countries and played a new chapter in China-Argentina friendship through tango.

In 2018, they held dozens of concerts throughout the country, which received recognition and praise from the audience. OUR TANGO presented the classical Tango music for the audience and the combination and adaptation of traditional Chinese music elements with Argentine tango is the biggest highlight, which enables the two great civilizations to meet through the bridge of tango art and link together, and shinning sparkly. 

Yu Jian, the bandoneónist, the founder and the artistic director of OUR TANGO Orchestra. Since 2011, his performances have spread all over the country. During the period, he has conducted a number of lectures on the spread of tango music and contributed to the publicity of tango music. In 2015, he won the International Prize for Players on bandoneón (Citta di Lanciano). In 2016, he performed with the famous Argentine Bandoneonist Pablo Jaurena, and the CCTV Spanish Channel has given a comprehensive report on this performance. In 2017, he performed with the bandoneonist Alex Nikolic at the Central Conservatory of Music Festival and received a high evaluation. At the beginning of the same year, he played at the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Argentina，which made him the first bandoneonist to perform in the congressional event.

Sun Guannan, the young pianist. He has won the first prize in the 2012 YAMAHA piano competition(Conservatory Group). The professor Bernd Goetzke from the Hannover Conservatory in Germany praised Sun as a "passionate and intelligent performer". Sun has unique insights into the tone control of piano in chamber music, and he has been working on the study and research of chamber music since 2011.

Zhao Qi, the young violinist has revealed extraordinary musical talents since her childhood. She is skilled and has unique insights on tango music performance. As the violinist of OUR TANGO, she played all over the Country, and her performance is highly recognized by the audience and experts. In 2016, the Argentina artist, Mr. Pablo Jaurena, who was on his China tour, has invited Qi to perform the classical tango music as the partner violinist in China which earned Mr. Jaurena’s praise. In 2017, she was invited to participate in the musical performance of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between China and Argentina. The tango music she played was loved by the leaders and senior officials of the two countries.

Chen Xi, the classical guitarist. She has shown a very high musical talent since she was young. She won the first place in the “Open Section” of the 7th Thailand International Guitar Competition when aged six. As a creative performer, she has arranged many popular works, and her comprehensive performance skills, her passionate performance style and meticulous handling has been recognized and loved by the audience. In 2017, she was invited to a tour in France and Italy and achieved great diving watches replica rolex submariner success.

Wang Yuecong, the jazz bass player, is the special guest double bass player of Tianjin Opera & Dance Drama Theater, the bass player of Tianjin Youth Jazz Band, OUR TANGO bass player, “Magnetic” Jazz Quintet bass player, "PEPE" String Quintet double bass player. In 2012, he successfully held his personal performance of “Electric Bass and Double Bass Works”. And in that August he participated in the Tianjin International Jazz Music Festival with Tianjin Youth Jazz Band. In 2015, he attended the Moscow International Music Festival and played double bass and electric bass.
