19th July-22th July, 2012, a four-day-long 2012 Slovenia International Folk Music Festival and Music Competition were hold in Bratislava, the capital of Slovak. About 20 transcendent musical groups from more than ten different countries and regions participated in this fabulous international music event. After intensive competitions in two days, the Golden Sail Chorus of Beijing Shi Jia Primary School, conducted by Na Li, won the “Golden Prize” of groups under twelve years old. According to the staff from Beijing Eurovista Arts Promotion Co., Ltd, the domestic organizing committee of this activity, this is the very first time for the children chorus from China mainland to take part in such a musical event like that. At the same time the Golden Sail Chorus of Shi Jia Primary School got wide-range praises from the international judges which indicate the prosperous achievement of the music pedagogy in China.

Meanwhile, this event has got the great supports from the embassy of China in Slovakia and the embassy of Slovakia in China. Gu Ziping, ambassador of China, along with his wife, held a welcome banquet in his house personally in order to show their great respect to the children chorus from Beijing which represents a superior level of music pedagogy in China.
